Chiostro della Meridiana

Built in the 15th century, it doesn’t feature the typical layout of Benedictine monasteries of the time.
It takes its name from two sundial, also from the 15th century.
Subject to an important restoration project completed in 2017, the Chiostro della Meridiana also displays several frescoes and the bas-relief of “Saint George killing the dragon”, patron saint of the monastery.
The area encircling the Chiostro was a military hospital during the course of the First World War.
Nowadays it’s the ideal location to host events, meetings and conventions in a private and suggestive atmosphere (up to 200 guests).

Sala del Torchio

Situated just upstairs from the Portico del Torchio was once used as a granary. Nowadays, with restoration having been completed in 2021, the Sala del Torchio has rediscovered its ancient beauty, also thanks to the “terrazzo alla veneziana” (a typical floor board once widely used in the area) and to the wooden beams (up to 100 guests).

Sala della Regola

Once used as the refectory by the monks in the monastery, it’s now home to the Wine Shop, where it’s possible to buy the wines produced by the Ninni Riva family.
The atmosphere is rendered more original by the presence of an early 20th century carriage and by a resident exhibition of photographs of the First World War taken from the family archive.
Inside guests can also find old wooden casks, formerly used for the conservation of the wines.

Casaria

The ideal location for celebrating private events with the greatest privacy, Casaria is immersed in the naturalistic beauties and vineyards of the Abbazia estate.
Once part of a “barchessa” (typical venetian villa’s lateral wings) of a now-demolished country house, over the years the Casaria has served many functions: from agriculture to tourism, it has also been home to an aero-club flying hang-gliders and ultralight aircrafts.
Now, following a simple yet elegant restoration, it’s the ideal location for your events (up to a 100 guests).
